Thirty-Two Top Women's Tennis Players to Compete in ITF World Tennis Tour CHRISTUS Health Pro Challenge in Tyler

The ITF World Tennis Tour CHRISTUS Health Pro Challenge is set to showcase some of the finest women's tennis talent, featuring 32 world-class players. The tournament, hosted at the Tyler Athletic & Swim Club, promises exciting matches and a total prize purse of $80,000.

The competition, which began on October 25, is set to culminate with the Championship Sunday on October 29. Emma Navarro, currently ranked 42nd in the USTA world rankings, is among the star players headlining this event. Competitors hail from various countries, including the United States, Bulgaria, Argentina, Germany, Slovakia, India, and more.

Rob Lowe, the tournament director, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We're thrilled to welcome women's professional tennis back to our club and to give members and local tennis enthusiasts the opportunity to see some of the world's greats competing in person." He also extended his gratitude to CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System, the title sponsor for this year's event, for their significant support of professional tennis and the local Tyler community.

Main draw singles and doubles matches took place on October 25 and 26. Doubles play will conclude on Saturday, October 28, with the singles championship match scheduled for Sunday, October 29.

The 2023 CHRISTUS Health Pro Challenge is open to members, guests, fans and sponsors.
