This beloved festival will once again grace the downtown streets of Winnsboro, East Texas, on Friday and Saturday, November 10 and 11, offering a weekend of artistic and culinary delights.

The festival invites guests to explore Winnsboro's downtown Cultural Arts District while enjoying the work of over 60 professional artists. Attendees can savor wines from ten regional wineries, indulge in delectable treats from Texas food vendors, and groove to live music. Best of all, admission to the event is FREE.

On Friday, November 10, the festival runs from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with wineries staying open until 8:00 pm. Saturday, November 11, offers extended hours from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

This year's event will showcase a diverse array of art, including paintings, sculptures, jewelry, glasswork, photography, and textiles from both local and U.S.-based professional artists. Notable artists include Wendy Michelle Davis, Ed Philips, Michael Malone, Susan Langlois, Mary Lou Christie, Mary Meier, Ingrid and Sam Qureshi, and Jose Madrigal.

Wine enthusiasts can look forward to tastings from ten Texas wineries, including Sonora's Wild Texas Wines, Gilmer's Rowdy Creek Ranch, Naples's Red Road Vineyard, and Hallsville's Walkers Mill Vineyard and Winery.

Food vendors will tantalize taste buds with offerings from East Texas Rush BBQ, Mac Daddy's Gourmet Mac & Cheese, Warrior Taco, Maria's Taqueria, Coyote Smoke BBQ, and booths featuring a variety of culinary delights, including olive oils, candies, and meats.

The festival's musical lineup includes performances by Texas singer/songwriters Andrew Toole on Friday and Janis Thomas, Fritz Schultz, Chase Glover, and Kevin Tinney on Saturday.

While immersing themselves in the festival, attendees can explore the quaint shops lining Winnsboro's downtown streets. Art galleries like Modern Country Art and Design Gallery, Vanora Studio, and Winnsboro Center for the Arts Gallery Gift Shop and Annex Ceramics Store enhance the artistic atmosphere. The art center is currently hosting "Cowboy Tales," an art exhibition featuring over 60 pieces available for purchase. Additionally, numerous boutiques and eateries will offer a taste of local and domestic wines and diverse culinary offerings.

Winnsboro, a designated Cultural Arts District by the Texas Commission for the Arts, is the perfect backdrop for this annual event. The town also holds the designation of a Main Street City from the Texas Historical Commission, recognizing its dedication to downtown revitalization and small-town pride.

The Winnsboro Center for the Arts, an integral part of the Cultural Arts District, offers a vibrant venue for concerts, theater productions, art exhibits, classes, workshops, and literary events. Its Bowery Stage has hosted renowned performers like Peter Yarrow, Judy Collins, Kinky Friedman, Michael Martin Murphey, and Sara Hickman.

Cyndie Ewert, the festival coordinator, expressed, "The Art & Wine Festival is just one of many Winnsboro Center for the Arts programs that demonstrates a commitment to the artistic community we are fostering here in East Texas. We are proud of the reputation we have developed for bringing our community together and celebrating creative expression."
