The Greenville High School Lions Boys soccer team played their bi-district playoff game March 24. The Lions defeated the Red Oak Hawks in overtime by a score of 5-3. The game was played in Lancaster and ended in a 2-2 time in regulation time.
Greenville ended district play with a 6-5-1 record and in third place.
Next up is Whitehouse in round 2. Whitehouse will be a tough opponent. They have 20-5-1 overall record this year and finished first in their district.
The area playoff game will be played tuesday, March 28, at 6 pm at Mt. Pleasant.
