The Greenville Independent School District (GISD) Leadership Class, which commenced in January 2023, reached its culmination with a memorable event, highlighting the district's unwavering commitment to education and community collaboration. Over the past nine months, dedicated community members devoted one lunch per month to gain a profound insight into GISD's day-to-day operations.

This extraordinary event featured a delectable lunch, expertly prepared and served by the talented students of Greenville High School's Culinary Program. Attendees also had the privilege of listening to Greenville High School students who shared their experiences on how GISD has been instrumental in helping them achieve their dreams and future aspirations.

Certificates of appreciation and commemorative shirts were presented to the participants by Board President Aletha Kruse and Superintendent Sharon Boothe. Both expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the class for their unwavering dedication and commitment to the betterment of GISD.

The GISD community extends its sincere appreciation to these individuals for their active involvement and continued support. Superintendent Sharon Boothe remarked, "We are deeply grateful for the GISD Leadership Class 2023 members' commitment to attending and learning, their enduring support for GISD and our students, and for standing by our side as we progress together, seeking a deeper understanding of our district. Their dedication serves as an inspiring example for all."
