Two Shot While Driving in North Greenville; Shots Fired From Another Vehicle

In the early hours of September 16, 2023, the Greenville Police Department received a distress call from the emergency staff at Hunt Regional Medical Center's emergency room, alerting them to two individuals being treated for gunshot wounds.

The victims, whose identities remain undisclosed, informed authorities that the incident unfolded in the northern part of Greenville, specifically on the roadway between Graham Park and the Wolfe City Drive/Commerce Drive split. The victims claimed that they were either passing the suspect vehicle or were being overtaken by it when the alleged assailants fired shots into their vehicle.

The suspect vehicle has been described as a black Ford truck equipped with large chrome wheels and undercarriage lights that illuminate the road beneath it. At this point, the motive behind the attack remains unclear.

As of the time when officers arrived at the hospital, both victims appeared to be in stable condition. Further details about their injuries have not been disclosed.
