Film Alley Operator to Debut New Music Venue/Restaurant Concept in Terrell

Schulman Partners, LLC, the company behind the Film Alley entertainment chain, has announced that the City of Terrell will be the debut location for its new indoor/outdoor music venue and restaurant concept, Moby's. The venue is slated to open in 2027 at Terrell Crossroads, located north of Interstate 20.

"We are thrilled to expand our operations in the Terrell area with our latest entertainment concept, Moby's, a live music and restaurant concept that offers great food, drinks, and fun, helping to make Crossroads at Terrell the premier entertainment destination east of Dallas," said Vice President Nathan Schulman. He also expressed gratitude for the community's support of Film Alley since its opening in 2019.

City officials anticipate that Moby's will attract both daily visitors and thousands of attendees for regional special events.

Terrell Mayor Rick Carmona, who spearheaded the project, stated, "The Schulman Partners are a great family team. Terrell is still booming and entertainment is the key to a sustainable retail location. We are pleased to welcome Moby's to share the neighborhood with our current Terrell Crossroads tenants."

Moby's is planned as an upscale venue featuring signature musical acts and fine dining in a relaxed setting with greenspace and water features, offering convenient access to I-20.

City Manager Mike Sims also voiced his support, saying, "Our Mayor and Council are firmly committed to supporting ventures with an emphasis on quality of life and regional leadership... Terrell is a destination and a great experience."

Mayor Carmona added that the project aligns with Terrell's vision for responsible growth, stating, "Moby's definitely adds to our commitment to make Terrell a great place to live, work and play."
