The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department (TAPD) has announced the arrest of 18-year-old Jayden Arnold in connection to the homicide of Pedro M. Triana Sr. The incident occurred on February 12, 2024, in the 800 block of Ash Street, where Mr. Triana was found deceased in his residence.
According to the TAPD, the arrest was made possible through investigative work and forensic technology. Critical DNA evidence obtained by detectives was submitted to the Arkansas State Crime Lab, and on April 14, 2025, a CODIS database match linked Mr. Arnold to the crime. Mr. Arnold was subsequently arrested on April 16, 2025.
