On Wednesday, April 9th, Hunt County deputies took custody 49-year-old Jason Paul Murrell of Fort Worth on a parole violation. He was booked into the Hunt County Detention Center and charged with Revoke of Probation related to a 2019 conviction for two counts of Indecency with a Child Sexual Contact.
Murrell, a registered sex offender in Texas, was originally given probation in March 2021 for the abuse of two 15-year-old girls. His bond has been set at $325,000. He was arrested on April 2nd by the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office and then extadited to Hunt County to face his new charges.
