New 'Heart of Hunt County' Installed at Public Works Service Center

A new, large heart sculpture has been installed at the Public Works Service Center as part of the ongoing Hearts of Hunt County project.

These eye-catching heart sculptures serve as a unique way to showcase local pride throughout the community. Businesses and organizations still have the opportunity to sponsor and decorate their own heart to display.

The Hearts of Hunt County program was initiated by the 2023 Hunt County Leadership Class, a biennial program sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce that encourages participants to undertake projects that beautify, support, and promote the local community. Inspired by similar initiatives in other cities, the program aims to reflect the civic pride and character of Hunt County.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to find all the hearts currently on display and capture a selfie or group photo with each one.

Currently, Hearts of Hunt County sculptures can be found at the following locations:

  • The Greenville Municipal Auditorium (GMA)
  • The Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum
  • Greenville Chamber of Commerce
  • GEUS
  • Greenville ISD
  • The Children's Advocacy Center
  • The Public Works Service Center

More hearts may be appearing throughout Hunt County, adding to this colorful display of community spirit.
