U-Haul Security Check Leads to Arrests, Stolen Motorcycle, Firearm, and Credit Cards

A routine security check of a U-Haul truck in the 700 block of Pine Bluff Street in Paris, TX, on Sunday resulted in the arrests of Sidney Ann Cady, 25, and Cameron Isaiah Harrison, 24, and the discovery of a stolen motorcycle and other contraband.

During the security check, Paris Police officers found Harrison in possession of a firearm. Further investigation revealed a stolen 2023 Honda motorcycle concealed within the cargo area of the U-Haul. Police determined that Harrison was a convicted felon, leading to a charge of Possession of a Firearm.

Harrison and Cady, who had rented the U-Haul, were both charged with Felony Theft due to the stolen motorcycle. Cady's charge was enhanced due to a prior theft conviction.

During the booking process, officers discovered that Harrison was also in possession of stolen identifying information and credit cards, resulting in an additional charge of Credit Card Abuse.

Both individuals were booked into jail without incident.
