Paris Police Arrest Three Teens for Terrorist Threat at Business

Paris Police officers responded to a call last Saturday, April 5th, regarding a terrorist threat in the 3800 block of Lamar Avenue, leading to the arrest of three teenagers.

According to police, 17-year-old Cameron Sage Floyd produced a note to an individual inside a business claiming he had an explosive device and instructing the person to leave. Two juvenile suspects were with Floyd at the time.

Investigators discovered that the teens were allegedly recording the incident with the intention of posting it on social media, and all three were involved in the threat. Authorities stated that the threat caused fear among the victims and business management.

All three suspects were arrested and charged with terrorist threats, a felony offense. The two juvenile suspects were released to their parents in accordance with juvenile probation guidelines. Cameron Sage Floyd was booked into the Paris Police Department and subsequently transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
