Stolen Off-Road Vehicles Recovered, Delta County Man Arrested in Burglary Investigation

A coordinated effort between law enforcement and the public led to the recovery of two stolen off-road vehicles and several pieces of stolen property, culminating in the arrest of a 49-year-old Enloe resident.

On March 16, 2025, a caller reported two off-road vehicles parked at an abandoned house in Enloe. While investigating, Game Warden Fried was approached by the owner of one of the vehicles, who confirmed it had been stolen. The second vehicle was towed to the Delta County Sheriff's Office for safekeeping.

The next day, March 17, 2025, Sgt. Betterton responded to a report of loose cattle on a property in Enloe. While addressing the situation, he and the property owner discovered that the fence holding the cattle had been cut. After discussing the stolen off-road vehicles, the property owner checked a neighboring shed and camper, discovering they had been burglarized. The recovered off-road vehicle belonged to the camper’s owner.

Following leads, law enforcement obtained a search warrant for a camper on CR 4325 in Enloe, resulting in the recovery of stolen items. A 49-year-old Enloe resident, identified as Mr. Brewer, was arrested on multiple warrants.

Brewer faces the following charges:

  • Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity (Misdemeanor)

  • Theft of Property ($2,500 - $30,000) (Third-Degree Felony)

  • Burglary of a Habitation (Second-Degree Felony)

  • Burglary of a Building (State Jail Felony)

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (Less than 1 gram, Penalty Group 1) (State Jail Felony)

Brewer is being held at the Delta County Jail on a $145,000 bond. Authorities are searching for an additional suspect who is believed to have left the county.

The Delta County Sheriff's Office thanked law enforcement agencies and community members for their assistance in solving the case.
