Chelsea Duncan has been sentenced to 10 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice by 392nd District Judge Scott McKee for Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Assistant District Attorney Daynah Fallwell represented the State.
On October 9, 2024, Henderson County Investigator Brad Beddingfield conducted a traffic stop on Highway 31. Duncan, the driver, provided a false name and then fled in the vehicle at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle came to a stop in Trinidad, where Duncan fled on foot. Investigators determined Duncan had outstanding warrants and she was later arrested. A search of the vehicle revealed 68.26 grams of methamphetamine.
