On March 20, 2025, the Task Force executed a search warrant at 701 Pamela Drive in Marshall, Harrison County, Texas. During the operation, Justin Airshawn Jones was located at the residence and taken into custody on multiple felony warrants.
Following Jones' arrest, investigators developed additional probable cause and obtained a second search warrant focused on narcotics. The search resulted in the discovery of:
- 2.5 pounds of marijuana
- 71 grams of cocaine
- $1,535 in U.S. currency
- A Diamondback AR-15 5.56 rifle
- A 9mm Ruger handgun
Jones faces charges for:
- Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Penalty Group 1 (>4g <200g)
- Possession of Marijuana (4 oz - 5 lbs.)
- Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
The drug-related charges will be enhanced as the offenses occurred within a designated Drug-Free Zone.
The operation was conducted with assistance from the Harrison County Sheriff's Office Emergency Response Team and the Marshall Police Department Special Response Team, ensuring both search warrants were executed safely.
Authorities continue efforts to combat violent crime and narcotics trafficking in the area.
