The Marshall Police Department Criminal Investigations and Patrol Divisions, in coordination with the Joint Harrison County Violent Crimes and Narcotics Task Force, executed a search warrant last week in the 1100 block of Hayes Street, recovering a large amount of stolen property.
Among the items seized were:
- Electronics, including televisions, cameras, and a drone
- Power tools, including a welding machine and accessories
- Yard equipment, including a push mower and weed eater
- Furniture
- Controlled substances
Two men, 56-year-old William Allen George Jr. and 21-year-old Leon Mathew McVay, were taken into custody without incident and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
Authorities say the operation has helped solve multiple open cases and led to the recovery of stolen property for its rightful owners.
