Traffic Stop Leads to Forgery, Drug Arrests in Marshall

The Marshall Police Department arrested Amber Nicole Wage, 36, and Lamarcus Bernard Clayborn, 43, on multiple charges, including forgery and drug possession, following a traffic stop on Tuesday afternoon in the area of E. Grand Ave. and Bolivar St.

Arrested and Charged:

  • Amber Nicole Wage, 36:
    • Possession of a Controlled Substance
    • Forgery of a Financial Instrument
  • Lamarcus Bernard Clayborn, 43:
    • No Driver’s License
    • No Insurance
    • Forgery of a Financial Instrument

Investigation Details:

  • Officers discovered a debit card and several checks in names other than Wage's possession.
  • One fraudulent check was made out to Clayborn.
  • A white substance found in Wage's possession tested positive for methamphetamine.
