Toby Dylan Harle, 27, of Mineola, has been taken into custody for violating the terms of his parole related to a 2019 improper relationship with a student.
Hunt County deputies arrested Harle on Saturday, February 22, 2025, on a warrant issued by the 196th District Court for Judgement of Revocation/Improper Relationship between Educator and Student. His bond was denied by the court.
Harle's original case stemmed from an incident in November 2019, when he was working as an Educational Aide at Campbell ISD. He was indicted in April 2021 after an investigation into the allegations. The warrant arrest was done in June 2021 when he was taken into custody. In his first court hearing, he did not show so he was arrested again. Initially he plead not guilty, but later changed his plea to guilty in an open plea. An open plea is a guilty plea to a criminal charge without an agreement with the prosecutor on the sentence. Also, the judge handles the sentencing instead of a jury.
As a result of his plea, he was sentenced to two years in jail, 10 years of supervised probation, a $1,000 fine, 100 hours of community service, and was prohibited from employment or volunteer positions involving children. He served his jail term from May 20, 2022, to April 28, 2024.
His latest arrest is due to a parole violation stemming from a new felony charge. The specific nature of the new felony charge has not been released by authorities, but court records show that he was ordered to undergo a substance abuse evaluation and serve two separate weekend jail terms.
