Marshall Man Refuses to Cooperate During Traffic Stop, Arrested for Resisting

On February 20, 2025, at approximately 10:50 PM, a Harrison County deputy observed a vehicle committing a moving traffic violation on Highway 59. The deputy initiated a traffic stop, and the driver pulled over in the parking lot of a local hotel.

Upon contact, the driver refused to provide identification. After a brief conversation, deputies instructed the individual to exit the vehicle. The driver, later identified as 54-year-old Larry Henderson Morrow of Marshall, actively resisted arrest.

Once at the jail, Morrow continued to display uncooperative behavior during the booking process. He was booked on charges of Failure to Identify and Resisting Arrest or Transport.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Office continues to serve and protect the community, responding to multiple non-reportable calls, conducting traffic stops, and patrolling county roadways.
