Harrison County Task Force Seizes Drugs and Firearms in Scottsville Raid

On February 20, 2025, the Joint Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force, in collaboration with the Harrison County Emergency Response Team and Marshall Police Department Special Response Team, executed a search and arrest warrant at 8841 Highway 80 in Scottsville, Texas. The operation targeted residents Joe Cisco Jr., 48, and Brittany Dyer, 41.

Upon entry, officers observed probable cause in plain sight, leading to the acquisition of a search warrant. The subsequent search resulted in the seizure of 51 grams of methamphetamines, 19 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, and seven firearms—including a stolen Mini-14 rifle and an illegal short-barreled rifle. Additionally, scales, baggies, and other drug paraphernalia were discovered on the premises.

Both Cisco and Dyer were arrested and booked into the Harrison County Jail. Sheriff Brandon Fletcher praised the task force's efforts, stating, "The success of this joint effort is rewarding to our community. Our stance on drugs in Harrison County has been loud and powerful!"

This operation marks a continuation of Harrison County's aggressive campaign against drug-related offenses, with over 70 drug houses addressed to date.
