Jayden Brooke Holly, a 19-year-old resident of Sulphur Springs, was arrested on February 8, 2025, following an aggravated assault incident involving a deadly weapon.
Sulphur Springs Police officers responded to a disturbance near Popeye’s after receiving a report of an assault by Holly, the victim’s girlfriend of two years. The victim claimed Holly struck him with her vehicle, causing injuries to his arms, legs, and head. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers spoke with Holly, who explained that the confrontation began over a cell phone the victim had. She admitted to pursuing the victim in her vehicle when he attempted to flee, eventually hitting him in the Burger King parking lot.
Holly was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
