The City of Greenville has appointed Steve Glass as its new City Engineer, bringing over two decades of experience in municipal infrastructure and project management.
Glass began his career in 1996 as a Utilities Engineer with the City of Tyler. He later served as Project Manager for the City of Dallas, overseeing street and infrastructure projects from design to construction. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Director of Public Works for the City of Mesquite, where he managed multiple departments and led various infrastructure projects, including wastewater pipelines and maintenance.
Glass holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He officially joined the Greenville city staff on December 16, 2024.
