Marshall Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Aggravated Robbery Suspect, Firearm and Drugs Seized

A routine traffic stop on February 5, 2025, led to the arrest of two individuals, including a suspect wanted for aggravated robbery in a 2024 case.

Marshall Police officers conducted the stop on Woodland Road, where they discovered a firearm and drugs inside the vehicle. The occupants, Zamaria Parker, 17, and Jakavion Adkins, 19, both of Marshall, were taken into custody.

Parker was found to have multiple outstanding warrants, including one for aggravated robbery issued by the Marshall Police Department. He also had warrants for traffic and weapon violations and now faces additional charges for drug possession and weapon violations. Adkins was arrested for drug possession.

Both were transported to the Harrison County Jail, where Parker remains in custody. Authorities encourage anyone with information on criminal activity to contact the Marshall Police Department at 903-935-4575.
