On January 31, 2025, at approximately 4:40 p.m., Longview police responded to a robbery call at a business in the 1000 block of North Eastman. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who reported that another female had attempted to steal her purse. During the theft, the victim sustained bodily injuries.
Longview Fire EMS transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment. Investigators identified the suspect as 46-year-old LaCarol Joyce Henderson, a Longview resident formerly of Atlanta, TX. A warrant was issued for her arrest, and she was taken into custody. Henderson has been charged with Aggravated Robbery, a first-degree felony. Her bond has been set at $50,000.
