The Rowlett Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect linked to multiple vehicle burglaries in the northwest neighborhoods of Rowlett. The burglaries began in late December, temporarily stopped, but resumed this past weekend, with six incidents reported.
Suspect Description:
- Light-skinned Black male, approximately 5’9” to 5’11” with an average build
- Bushy eyebrows
- Frequently wears all black, including a hoodie and backpack
- In recent burglaries, he wore black track pants with a reflective square at the knee, a navy Nike hoodie, a black face mask, and black slippers or house shoes
Pattern of Behavior:
- Moves methodically and lingers in neighborhoods without rushing
- Targets areas north of Lakeview Parkway, suggesting familiarity with the area
- Uses a window punch to gain entry, wears gloves, and searches center consoles and glove compartments
Recent Burglary Locations:
- Trumpet Dr.
- Sumac Ln.
- Larkspur Ln.
- Locust St.
