The United Way of Lamar County (UWLC) is offering four scholarships for graduating high school seniors in Lamar County.
Students may apply for:
- $500 Academic Scholarship
- $500 CTE Scholarship
- $500 First Generation to College Scholarship
- $4,000 Education Major Scholarship ($1,000 per year for four years for students entering the teaching field)
Applications are available through high school counselors or by contacting UWLC Education and Youth Programs Coordinator Sabrina Rosson at srossonuwlc@gmail.com. The deadline to apply is April 18, 2025. Applications can be emailed, dropped off at the UWLC office at 2340 Lamar Avenue, or mailed to PO Box 1, Paris, Texas 75461.
