On Sunday, January 26, 2025, at approximately 8:10 p.m., Henderson County Narcotics Investigators Jonathan Barrios, Jonathan Daille, and Brad Beddingfield, accompanied by K-9 deputies and other officers, executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road 1502 in the Athens area. The warrant was issued by 392nd Judicial District Judge Scott McKee.
During the search, 67-year-old Terry Frank Alotto was taken into custody. Investigators recovered a gallon-sized bag of suspected methamphetamine, packaging materials for manufacturing and distribution, a firearm, and U.S. currency. Two additional individuals, 45-year-old Christi Lynn Pass and 70-year-old David Wayne Balser, were also arrested at the residence and found in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
The arrested individuals and their charges include:
- Terry Frank Alotto of Athens: Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, bond set at $125,000.
- Christi Lynn Pass of Athens: Possession of a Controlled Substance, bond set at $25,000.
- David Wayne Balser of Athens: Possession of a Controlled Substance, bond set at $25,000.
The suspects were transported to the Henderson County Jail. This case remains under investigation.
