On Saturday, November 7, 2024, Paris Police responded to a welfare concern in the 2400 block of Ridgeview Road. Upon arrival, officers met with 19-year-old Trinity Ameia Alesie George and another family member.
Although no active disturbance was occurring, George was reported to be verbally abusive and uncooperative with her family. During a routine warrant check, officers discovered that George had outstanding misdemeanor warrants in Bowie County.
When officers attempted to place George under arrest, she resisted, kicking and attempting to bite one of the arresting officers. George was subsequently charged with resisting arrest in addition to the outstanding warrant.
She was transported to the Lamar County Sheriff’s Department, where she was booked into the County Jail.
