Beginning Monday, December 9, the City of Quinlan and its contractor will close a section of County Road 3605 south of its intersection with Highway 276 for approximately 400 feet to begin road reconstruction.
The project will involve removing the existing road surface and preparing it for reconstruction. Construction is expected to take around six months to complete. During this time, the closed section will remain inaccessible, and access to the rest of CR 3605 will be available via CR 3604.
The City of Quinlan has stated the project aims to replace a deteriorated section of the road and is working to complete it as quickly as possible.
