On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Paris police responded to a moving vehicular disturbance originating on East Cherry St., with the victim reporting that her boyfriend, 34-year-old Domienek Antwar Reed, was chasing her. The victim stated that during the pursuit, Reed intentionally collided with her vehicle, damaged the driver’s side door handle, broke the window, and assaulted her with his fists.
Reed fled the scene, but officers located him later on the 800 block of NE 7th. Upon arrest, Reed was found to have multiple outstanding warrants, including charges of Harassment from January 2024, Terroristic Threat and Criminal Trespassing from February 2024—both related to a different victim—along with a Parole Violation and traffic warrants.
In addition to the outstanding warrants, Reed faces charges for the current incident, including two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, one of which involved a family member. Reed was processed without incident and is currently in custody.
