The Temple Police Department is conducting an investigation into an assault that left one person hospitalized with significant injuries.
On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at approximately 3:22 p.m., officers responded to reports of an assault in the 2500 block of South 5th Street. Upon arrival, they found an individual who had sustained severe injuries to their face and head. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported, and authorities have not released additional details at this time.
