On Sunday morning at 9:28 AM, the owner of a silver 2013 Lincoln Navigator reported the vehicle stolen from the 500 block of SE 15th Street. The theft occurred between 1:00 AM and 7:30 AM after the vehicle was left unlocked with the key inside.
The landlord provided surveillance footage showing two individuals walking up, opening the vehicle’s front doors, entering, and driving away south on SE 15th Street.
At 7:24 PM, an officer patrolling the 2200 block of East Price Street located the Navigator in a parking lot. The vehicle was processed for evidence, and the Auto Theft Task Force Detective was notified.
The owner inspected the recovered vehicle and reported missing a purse containing medication, cards, and the car key. The investigation is ongoing.
