Hunt County deputies arrested 37-year-old Brandy Leanne Ashley of Farmersville on Friday, November 22, following the issuance of a warrant by County Court 1 for violating the terms of her probation.
Ashley’s arrest stems from a DWI incident on November 4, 2022, for which she pleaded guilty and was sentenced on June 5, 2023, to one year and eight months of probation, 60 hours of community service, and completion of a DWI education course.
On November 8, a notice of violation of community supervision was filed against Ashley. Subsequently, on November 19, a judge amended her sentence, imposing a three-day jail sanction for the probation violation. Ashley remains under supervision as authorities enforce the conditions of her probation.
