Water Leak in Turtle Creek Area Causes Temporary Outages in Greenville

UPDATE Nov. 18th: Water is being turned on and air bleed from the fire hydrants

11:10 PM: The damaged pipe section has been removed. New piece will be tied in and water restored in the upcoming hours.

8:43 PM: Trench box in place and repairs are in progress.

8:00 PM: The trench has been excavated and water pumped out. Crew is now putting in a trench box for stability to implement the appropriate repairs.

The City of Greenville is working to repair a water leak near the Turtle Creek area, resulting in potential temporary water outages affecting several locations.

Impacted sites include:

  • Arby’s
  • McDonald’s
  • Exxon
  • Economy Inn
  • Fletcher Warren Civic Center
