On Friday, November 15, Harrison County deputies responded to an assault call in the 3900 block of FM 2625 W in Marshall.
During the investigation, deputies learned that Logan Matthew Kelley, 27, who has a history of violent outbursts, assaulted an individual. Kelley was reportedly threatening someone when another individual intervened. Kelley then struck the individual in the head with a coffee mug.
Kelley was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Assault Family Member with a Weapon and transported to the Harrison County Jail.
