On Thursday, November 14, 2024, Joshua Mark Johnson of Quinlan was sentenced to two years in state jail after pleading guilty to two counts of Voyeurism: Victim Under 14 Years of Age.
The offenses occurred on November 30 and December 7, 2023. Johnson was arrested by Hunt County deputies following the incidents and remained incarcerated at the Hunt County Detention Center until March 14, 2024, when he was released on a personal recognizance bond.
Initially set for a jury trial, the case concluded in August 2024 when Johnson entered a plea agreement. He received the maximum sentence under the state jail punishment range for the charges.
