The City Council of Paris, Texas, has announced the three finalists for the vacant city manager position and invites residents to meet the candidates at a public event on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
The finalists include Rose Beverly, City Administrator of Berea, Kentucky; Jason Weeks, City Manager of Navasota, Texas; and Chris Whittaker, City Manager of Angleton, Texas.
The meet-and-greet will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, located at 107 East Kaufman Street. During the event, residents will have the opportunity to engage with the candidates, ask questions, and learn about their visions for the future of Paris. City Council members will also be available for one-on-one conversations to gather feedback and discuss the candidates' leadership styles, communication approaches, and overall impressions.
