On November 6, 2024, around 5:56 p.m., Melissa Police Department and Melissa Fire Department responded to a fatal auto-pedestrian accident. A juvenile female was struck by a vehicle and became trapped underneath the sedan. Despite immediate rescue efforts, she tragically succumbed to her injuries.
