Robbery at Longview 7-Eleven Results in $129 Stolen

On Tuesday night, November 5, 2024, Harrison County deputies responded to a robbery call at the 7-Eleven located on W. FM 968 in Longview. The complainant, an employee of the store, reported that a robbery had just occurred.

According to the employee, a black male entered the store around 1:30 AM, wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants, and white Crocs. He approached the register and requested $10 worth of gas on one of the pumps. While standing at the counter, the suspect kept his hands in his hoodie pockets before placing them on the counter. The employee then heard what she believed to be a firearm hitting the counter, and the male demanded that she give him everything she had.

The employee complied, emptying the cash from the register and handing it over to the suspect. Afterward, the suspect fled the scene, getting into a white four-door sedan, the make and model of which were unknown. The vehicle then exited the parking lot and appeared to head east on Interstate 20.

The store manager later conducted a drawer count and confirmed that $129 had been stolen during the robbery. Video footage was collected, and an official report was filed. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
