Hopkins County Deputies are actively investigating a series of vehicle burglaries that occurred over the weekend, particularly in the Sulphur Bluff and Dike areas. Sheriff Lewis Tatum has issued a reminder to residents to secure their vehicles and remove valuable items, including firearms, after several reports of thefts.
During the investigation, a suspicious vehicle was identified that may be linked to the crimes. Sheriff Tatum described the vehicle as a black 3/4-ton pickup equipped with cab lights and oversized wheels and tires.
Authorities are urging anyone who spots a vehicle matching this description to call 911 immediately, as the suspects associated with the vehicle are considered armed and dangerous. The community is encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.
