On the evening of October 25, 2024, a serious pedestrian-vehicle collision occurred outside First Baptist Church on FM 741 (College Ave) in Forney, Texas. A child and parent were struck by a vehicle, sustaining serious injuries, and were transported to the hospital. The child is now reported to be in stable condition and may be released soon.
The suspect vehicle, described as a black 2018 BMW 4-door, fled westbound toward Dallas following the collision. Forney Police have identified the vehicle’s license plate and obtained a description of the suspect, but are asking the public for additional information to aid in their investigation.
