A Paris officer responded to a welfare concern on Friday morning, October 25, at 11:25 AM, in the 3200 block of NE Loop 286, where a female was reported to be behaving unusually. Upon arrival, the officer found 47-year-old Bethany Michelle Luke of Clarksville slumped over on a bench outside the store.
Luke was observed continuously falling asleep, prompting the officer to investigate further. She was subsequently arrested and charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance—Oxycodone, along with several Class “A” Possession of Dangerous Drug Offenses.
Luke was transported to the Paris Jail for booking.
