On October 25, 2024, at approximately 10:53 p.m., Longview police officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of Ridgelea Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male subject with gunshot wounds resulting from an altercation among family members.
According to police, a 38-year-old male forcibly entered a family member's home, prompting a resident to shoot him. The suspect sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital by EMS. Charges are currently pending as the investigation continues.
