Police Identify Suspect in Homicide of Juvenile in Texarkana

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has identified a suspect in the homicide of a male juvenile that occurred on October 22, 2024. The victim was pronounced dead at a local hospital, prompting a rapid investigation by detectives from the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.

The suspect, 19-year-old Kahim Webster, is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He is wanted for first-degree murder and 11 counts of terroristic acts. Authorities consider him armed and dangerous, and additional warrants may be issued as the investigation progresses.

The police urge anyone with information regarding Webster's whereabouts or related to the case to contact Detective Phillips at 903-798-3154. The TAPD emphasizes its commitment to achieving justice and holding those responsible accountable.

On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at approximately 1:07 PM, officers from the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department responded to a shots fired call at the River Run Apartment Complex. 911 call notes stated witnesses heard multiple gunshots in the apartment complex. Officers arrived on the scene and located a male juvenile victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers immediately rendered aid to the victim until LifeNet arrived on scene to take over life-saving measures. The victim was then transported by EMS to a local hospital. Once at the hospital, medical staff continued life saving measures but unfortunately the victim succumbed to his injuries. Other officers on the scene secured the area and began to collect witness statements and gather evidence.
