On Friday, October 25, 2024, Harrison County deputies responded to a disturbance call in the 14000 block of FM 968 W in Longview. The report indicated that 21-year-old Jaden Vance Bennett was refusing to leave a residence following an argument related to uncooked food he attempted to serve to the family.
Upon arrival, deputies confirmed Bennett’s identity, and dispatch revealed he had three active warrants out of Gregg County. The charges included Assault with Deadly Weapon Bond Forfeiture, Burglary of Building, and Theft of Property valued between $2,500 and $30,000.
Bennett was transported to the Harrison County Annex, where his bond was set at $21,000. He is scheduled to be extradited to Gregg County to face the outstanding charges.
