Texas Game Wardens responded to a jet ski accident on Lake Cypress Springs on Thursday afternoon, October 17, transporting three individuals to the hospital following the incident that occurred around 2:30 PM.
Officials reported that two jet skis collided when the first jet ski slowed and turned in front of the second jet ski, which was following closely behind. The first jet ski was driven by 18-year-old Johan Rasmussen and had 18-year-old Naja Thomsen as a passenger, both from Denmark. The second jet ski was operated by a juvenile, also from Denmark.
Rasmussen and Thomsen were airlifted to Medical City Plano, while the juvenile was transported by ambulance to Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs. The accident is currently under investigation by authorities.
