On October 16 and 17, 2024, an inmate work crew in Titus County collected 34 bags of trash, two recliners, five tires, and various other debris along County Roads 2300 and 2400. The cleanup operation was overseen by the Titus County Sheriff's Office as part of their inmate work crew program.
This program provides inmates with the opportunity to gain job skills, develop strong work habits, and reduce idle time. Additionally, it helps local public entities and governmental agencies by lowering labor costs.
