On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at approximately 10:18 PM, Sherman Dispatch received a 911 emergency call reporting a stabbing incident in the 300-block of West Scott Street. The caller indicated that a male had stabbed his roommate at a residence.
Sherman Police officers arrived on the scene and began their investigation, locating an adult male victim with multiple stab wounds. The victim was subsequently transported to Texoma Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Following the investigation, 49-year-old Billy Michael Sartor was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His bond has been set at $150,000.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
