On October 14, 2024, at approximately 2:46 PM, the Seven Points Police Department responded to a possible bomb threat at the O'Reilly Auto Parts store located at 206 N. Seven Points Blvd. Officer J. Thompson arrived on the scene and evacuated the store and surrounding businesses to ensure public safety.
With assistance from the ATF (Dallas Office), Seven Points Fire Department, Tool ESD, Tool Police Department, and Gun Barrel Police Department, the area was secured, and the building was found to be safe. The investigation is ongoing, according to Seven Points Police Chief R. Wennerstrom.
