From October 4 to October 10, 2024, the Delta County Sheriff’s Office handled 65 calls for service, 344 telephone calls, and 58 emergency 9-1-1 calls. Deputies made five arrests and filed four incident reports during the week.

Arrests:
- 1 for displaying a fictitious license plate, driving without a license, and failure to provide financial responsibility
- 1 for driving while intoxicated
- 1 for fraudulent use/possession of identifying information
- 1 for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram, Penalty Group 1/1-B)
- 1 for violation of probation
Incident Reports:
- Burglary of a building
- Displaying a fictitious license plate, no driver’s license, and failure to provide financial responsibility
- Forgery of a financial instrument
- Possession of a controlled substance (Penalty Group 1/1-B, 4 to 200 grams)
Citations Issued:
- 1 for driving with an invalid license
- 1 for expired driver’s license
- 5 for expired registration
- 2 for failure to change name/address on a driver’s license within 30 days
- 3 for failure to provide financial responsibility
- 2 for failure to stop at a stop sign
- 3 for speeding
