Major Drug Bust in Longview: Two Arrested And Weapons Seized

On Thursday, October 10, 2024, the Gregg County Organized Drug Enforcement (CODE) Unit, assisted by the Longview SWAT Team, executed a search warrant in the 600 block of Travis Avenue.

During the operation, officers discovered a significant quantity of illegal substances, including fentanyl pills, ecstasy, cocaine, and marijuana, along with two firearms.

Demichael Johnson, 33, and Shadiamond Chaseberry, 32, both residents of Longview, were arrested without incident and transported to the Gregg County Jail.

Johnson faces multiple charges, including Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1-B 4g<200g, Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 4g<200g, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1/1-B<1G, Possession of Marijuana <2OZ, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Chaseberry has been charged with Possession of Marijuana <2OZ.
